The appraisal meeting for the NOx tail gas treatment project of Hubei Yitai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.'s oxidation process for oxalic acid, implemented by Beijing Fangxin Lihua Technology Co., Ltd., will be held in Tianmen, Hubei Province in the near future.

The NOx tail gas treatment project of Hubei Yitai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.'s oxidation to oxalic acid process is the first denitrification project in China's oxalic acid industry to use domestic SCR low-temperature catalyst technology, undertaken by Professor He Hong's team from Beijing Institute of Technology and Beijing Fangxin Lihua Technology Co., Ltd. Hubei Yitai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is located in Tianmen City, Hubei Province. The company has two oxidation oxalic acid production lines, with a tail gas flow rate of 8000m2/h, a tail gas temperature of 30 ℃, and a saturated concentration of H2O gas. The NOx concentration in the tail gas of each production line is 800-1500mg/Nm3, and the NOx concentration in the tail gas of the other production line is 1500-2500mg/Nm3. At present, the low-temperature denitrification project has been completed and has passed the acceptance of the local environmental protection department. On October 22, 2013, the Environmental Protection Supervision Center of the Ministry of Environmental Protection conducted an inspection of the denitrification project. The measured denitrification data showed that the concentrations of NO, NO2, and O2 at the inlet of the SCR denitrification reactor were 410ppm, 56ppm, and 18%, respectively. The concentrations of NO, NO2, and O2 at the outlet of the reactor were 3ppm, 0ppm, and 18%, respectively. The inlet and outlet temperatures of the reactor were 210 and 200 ℃. The NOX tail gas treatment system of the oxidation oxalic acid production process has different denitrification activity, meeting the engineering design requirements.

After trial operation and several months of actual operation by the owner, this denitrification system has maintained a good operating state. The reactor has maintained good denitrification efficiency under conditions of 180-200 ℃, and the actual efficiency can reach 90-99%. The comprehensive cost and operating cost of this project are relatively low compared to traditional medium temperature denitrification systems. The construction process is mature, and the later maintenance and repair are convenient. The operation is simple and has high safety. For projects with small exhaust gas flow, simple composition of NOx containing exhaust gas and other gas components, it has a very good prospect and has good promotion significance. At present, Beijing Fangxin Lihua Technology Co., Ltd. has utilized low-temperature SCR catalysts with independent intellectual property rights to design high standard denitrification equipment for the oxalic acid industry, which is convenient for users to choose reasonably, saves waste gas treatment costs, and meets strict environmental emission standards.
