National Coking Industry Desulfurization and Denitration Technology Seminar held in Jinan

On May 21, 2015, the Shandong Coking Industry Association, Shandong Metal Society, China Coking Technology Alliance and other relevant units jointly organized a national seminar on desulfurization and denitrification technology in the coking industry at Jigang Hotel. More than 180 people attended the meeting, including Shi Yanfeng, Secretary General of the China Coking Industry Association, Cangjian Director of the Shandong Provincial Environmental Protection Department, Wang Aichen, President of the Hebei Coking Association, Professor Zhang Xianlong from Hefei University of Technology, Professor Zhang Zhaoliang from Jinan University, and relevant leaders and experts from coking and environmental protection enterprises. On behalf of Shandong Coking Industry Association, Liu Liangyu, Executive Vice President of Shandong Coking Industry Association, expressed gratitude to the attending leaders and guests for their long-term concern and support for the development and technological innovation of the coking industry; Liu Liangyu, Executive Vice President, gave a comprehensive introduction to the development and operation of Shandong's coking industry in 2014, as well as the new ideas for transformation and development in the current economic situation by seizing opportunities, relying on technological innovation, technological management innovation, and business model innovation; It is recommended that enterprises make efforts in expanding the market, improving internal skills, reducing costs, environmental governance, and ensuring safe and stable production to achieve the goal of improving quality and efficiency.

In the report, Shi Yanfeng analyzed the overall operating status and development trends of the coking industry in 2014, deeply interpreted a series of industrial policies such as the "Coking Industry Access Conditions" and the changes and prominent problems encountered in the development of the coking industry. He proposed the strategic development direction of technology and desulfurization technology adopted by the entire industry and enterprises in environmental protection and clean production in 2015.
At the meeting, the attending representatives also listened to experts from coking production enterprises, including Li Xunzhi, Senior Engineer of Jinan Branch of Shandong Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., Zhang Xianlong, Professor of the School of Chemical Engineering at Hefei University of Technology, Wang Yonglin, Senior Engineer of Coal Coking Company of Ma'anshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., and Zhang Suli, Professor of MCC Jiaonai Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., from the perspective of actual production, deeply analyzed the problems of different flue gas desulfurization processes in production and the specific technical measures for achieving environmental control indicators. At the same time, they proposed exploration ideas for the development core and key research topics of clean and environmentally friendly production technology in the future coking industry.
The conference also focused on the implementation of relevant environmental regulations and standards, new technologies for energy conservation and emission reduction, and advanced enterprise management experience, as well as ideas and strategies for cooperative development.
