Recently, the "Development and Application of Coke Oven flue gas desulfurization and denitrification process and equipment technology" project, jointly developed by MCC Jiaonai (Dalian) Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Institute of Technology, and Tongxing Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., has passed the scientific and technological achievement appraisal of the China Iron and Steel Industry Association. The appraisal conclusion indicates that the research and development achievement has reached the international advanced level.
The project has developed a "sodium based dry/semi dry desulfurization+dust removal+low-temperature SCR denitrification" process and equipment integration technology. The main innovation points are: (1) first desulfurization and dust removal, while removing viscous components such as tar in the flue gas, and then 180 ℃ low-temperature SCR high-efficiency denitrification, achieving long-term, efficient, and continuous stable operation of the process system. (2) Developed a multifunctional formula and preparation technology for low-temperature SCR catalysts for coke oven flue gas denitrification, with a denitrification efficiency of over 90% under low-temperature sulfur-containing conditions at 180 ℃, breaking through the technical bottleneck of low denitrification efficiency of low-temperature SCR catalysts under low-temperature and sulfur-containing conditions. (3) Developed equipment technology for dust removal, ammonia spraying, denitrification, and pyrolysis, achieving in-situ pyrolysis regeneration, online replacement, and efficient denitrification of denitrification catalysts. This achievement was completed in 2015 at Baosteel Zhanjiang Iron and Steel for the construction of a coke oven flue gas desulfurization and denitrification demonstration project, achieving continuous and stable operation. The purified coke flue gas meets the emission limits specified in the "Pollutant Emission Standards for Coking Chemical Industry" (GB16171-2012) in special regions, and has been promoted and applied in 16 coke oven flue gas desulfurization and denitrification projects.
Beijing Fangxin Lihua Technology Co., Ltd., as the supplier of low-temperature SCR denitrification catalysts for this R&D project, has been closely following the progress of the project, especially the operation status of the catalyst. Recently, by observing the catalyst surface and testing modules in the reactor, it can be seen that the catalyst is intact and undamaged, with no dust accumulation on the surface, yellow color, no blackening or damage, indicating good mechanical performance of the catalyst. At the same time, the catalyst test block for this project was brought back to the laboratory for analysis. The test data showed that the activity of the catalyst was basically consistent with the design attenuation value, and still had good activity, which can meet its chemical activity lifespan requirements. The company has continuously improved the performance of catalysts by improving the formula and production process, and has provided low-temperature SCR denitrification catalysts for multiple sets of denitrification devices in various industries, with good operating conditions.
