Recently, the installation of denitrification catalysts for the coke oven flue gas purification facility phase of Baosteel Zhanjiang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., supplied by Beijing Fangxin Lihua Technology Co., Ltd., has been successfully completed.

The coke oven flue gas purification facilities of Baosteel Zhanjiang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. are contracted by MCC Jiaonai (Dalian) Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. and supplied and constructed by Anhui Tongxing Environmental Protection Engineering Co., Ltd. The denitrification catalyst adopts Fangxin low-temperature SCR denitrification catalyst, which has independent intellectual property rights in China. The catalyst module is arranged in two layers inside the reactor shell. The catalyst module is the key equipment of the entire flue gas denitrification device inside the denitrification reactor, with a total of 672 pieces per unit.

According to the plan, the denitration facility will start with flue gas on October 15th, and the time is very tight. Due to the frequent use of blast furnace flue gas for hot testing and frequent rain during the catalyst lifting period, the lifting and installation conditions for the denitrification reactor must be met only when there is no flue gas and the weather is clear. In addition, the catalyst must be transported from the vehicle to the ground using a crane, and then vertically lifted onto the platform that needs to be installed using an electric hoist on the top of the furnace. Then, the construction personnel manually lift it to the designated position of the reactor and adjust it in place. Finally, the gaps between the catalyst modules need to be sealed with sealing strips, which is a complex process and difficult to install. Safe, high-quality, and efficient completion of catalyst installation is crucial for the scheduled start-up and trial operation of denitrification facilities.

In response to the difficulties of heavy installation tasks and short construction periods, as well as to ensure the safe and efficient completion of lifting work, the on-site staff of Beijing Fangxin Lihua Technology Co., Ltd. have maintained communication with the on-site staff of MCC Jiaonai and Anhui Tongxing. Based on the actual situation on site, a thorough installation plan has been developed in advance, and detailed technical guidance, safety protection, quality supervision and other deployments have been made, with responsibilities assigned to individuals. Before the module is officially lifted, all construction machinery and personnel are organized in place, and a thorough and detailed construction briefing is carried out to familiarize each operator with the operation process and construction precautions. Through scientific and reasonable arrangements in the early stage, the personnel responsible for transportation and installation are assigned their respective roles. The on-site staff of Beijing Fangxin Lihua Technology Co., Ltd. provide guidance and monitoring throughout the construction process, and the operation procedures of the assembly line ensure the safety and speed of the entire installation progress.
